Hi, I’m a visual artist/ designer, shaping stories
through movement, rhythm, and visual clarity.
From title sequences to cinematic idents, my work blends design, animation, and emotion to create moments that stay with you.
This portfolio is a window into how I think, how I build, and how I bring ideas to life, guided by a sense of rhythm, a commitment to motion, and a focus on visual flow.
A 1950s B‑movie–style title sequence featuring a giant robot from space, animated in a bold comic‑book aesthetic. Retro sci‑fi energy, humour, and dynamic visuals set the tone for a fun, nostalgic adventure.
A set of 10‑second Channel 4 idents created using 3D modelling and animation. Reimagining Channel 4’s identity through modern 3D techniques.

Paul Emery
Hi, I’m a visual artist and designer specialising in cinematic motion graphics. I blend technical precision with strong visual identity and clear storytelling, exploring the space where music, animation, and design meet.
My style ranges from bright, modern minimalism to darker, alternative aesthetics, always driven by rhythm and visual flow.
When I’m not animating, you’ll usually find me making things with my hands with arts, crafts and music, heading out for long walks with the dog, or surfskating my way around Yorkshire all of which feed back into how I see movement, balance, and design.
I’m currently completing my Creative Media Technology degree at Leeds Beckett University while building a portfolio for TV and film studios.
